David Haye has insisted he isn’t planning a boxing comeback within the close to future, regardless of his suspicion that somebody is attempting to lure him into one.
The previous cruiserweight and heavyweight champion final week obtained some social media insults from Dillian Whyte and has now reacted to the barrage.
Haye had beforehand given an interview by which he dismissed the concept Whyte’s knockout loss to Alexander Povetkin was the results of a fortunate punch.
Whyte is adamant he by no means claimed the shot was a ‘fortunate punch’ to start with.
“In case you say something that isn’t, ‘He’s nice,’ then he’s gonna have a problem with you…
“I haven’t received any beef with him, I’m certain he hates my guts and thinks I’m a scumbag.
“If he needs to name me a c**okay s***er, okay.
“I’m not gonna get in his face and go, ‘Did you name me a c**okay s***er?’ As a result of then the subsequent factor you already know David Haye vs Dillian Whyte’s on. No thanks.
“Possibly that’s what he needs, perhaps he needs to hit a nerve the place I believe, ‘I’m in good condition, I can beat him.’
“He truly stated, after I received knocked out towards Tony Bellew, he then got here as much as me saying he needs to struggle me.
“And I’m pondering, ‘I simply received beat up by Tony Bellew, why would you wanna struggle me? Why not struggle Tony Bellew? He simply gained.’
“However I believe he needs my title on his file. Even when it’s an outdated, washed up Haye.
“40-year-old, washed up Haye – he needs that scalp on his file.
“However sadly he can’t have it I’m afraid. It’s all tucked away now.”
