The Lithuanian Soccer Federation have introduced that former Hearts, Leeds and Rangers defender Marius Zaliukas has died on the age of 36.
Zaliukas captained Hearts to Scottish Cup last glory in opposition to Hibernian in 2012 throughout a six-year spell at Tynecastle and later had shorter spells at Elland Highway and Ibrox.

The information was introduced throughout Hearts’ Scottish Cup semi-final in opposition to Hibs.
The LFF stated in a press release: “Marius Zaliukas represented the Lithuanian nationwide group from 2006 to 2016 and managed to attain one objective.
“Marius impressed numerous younger footballers, and his contribution to Lithuanian soccer won’t ever be forgotten.
“On behalf of the Lithuanian soccer neighborhood, we specific our deepest condolences to Marius’ household.”
Former Scotland worldwide Neil McCann performed with Zaliukas at Hearts between 2006 and 2008 and has expressed his disappointment on the information.
“I’m shocked. Condolences to his household,” he informed the BBC.
“He was a very, very nice huge man. What a pleasant man he was. I can’t say sufficient good issues about him. He was a superb footballer.”
