The annual Ubud Food Festival (UFF) is set to come back for its 6th year on April 17 to 19.
Highlighting cooking demos, nourishment visits, master classes and more, the “Heroes”- themed celebration is said to occur over 30 venues across Ubud, Bali.
“One of the most significant aspects of the food on our table is the people behind it. When we’re eating, we tend to forget that there’s a story behind every food item, every meal, every cuisine,” said UFF founder and director Janet DeNeefe in a statement.
“We want to highlight the people behind the process and the significant role they play in creating the exemplary flavors that we have today.”
Among the featured lineup who will represent the theme is Gourmet Traveler Restaurant Awards 2020’s Chef of the Year, Paul Carmichael; 2019 James Beard Foundation Book Award champ Matt Abergel; Chris Salans; Khanh Nguyen; Germany’s most youthful female Michelin-featured chef Julia Komp; Bangka-born Eddrian Tjhia; MasterChef Indonesia judge Renatta Moeloek; and Wayan Sukarta.
