Wales boss Ryan Giggs has had his bail prolonged after being arrested on suspicion of assault final November.
The Manchester United legend was arrested after which bailed following an alleged row together with his ‘on-off girlfriend’ Kate Greville.
In a press release on Friday, a Higher Manchester Police spokesman stated: “A 46-year-old man (now aged 47) arrested on suspicion of part 39 widespread assault and part 47 assault in November 2020 has had his bail prolonged till Saturday Could 1.
“This pertains to an incident reported to police at 10.05pm on Sunday November 1 2020, on Chatsworth Street, Worsley.
“A file stays with the CPS and a choice is anticipated sooner or later.”
